About The Author
My Story
I am John Scott, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I graduated from high school in 1982 and went to serve 23.5 years in the United States Army. I am also the father of seven adult children. I am currently retired and spending my days volunteering when and wherever I can within the community.

Personal Life
I decided to write my life story to use as a healing tool from all the experiences that I have gone through as a young adult, both good and bad, but mainly the bad, that I have used to teach and mentor other young men that have or may be experiencing the same issues that I did.
